I have called nearly every day, still no internet we are going on 8 days, would not recommend and I would like my money back

I recently upgraded my Windows laptop to Windows 11 and a new hard drive . I installed all previous software but could not get my mindspring account to upload.
After trying three times with different on line support- chat and voice - NO ONE knew Windows.
Finally researched windows apps and blogs on line for answers.
Also very frustrating to be a customer for over 25 years and corporate is hiding ! No e-mail address for complaints.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product replacement. Original equipment was sent to wrong address.
Equipment sent to good address instead. If you can't get through to Earthlink by phone, try describing your issue on consumeraffairs.com.
Tried to install. They sent my router to the wrong address.
Their chat never responds.
Phone support is perma-hold. No response to text.
- For all i know it works but i cant use it without the hardware

Lousy! I did NOT get my issue resolved.
I would really appreciate if I could get this issue resolved. Can I talk to someone who speaks clear English, and knows how o resolve this problem? Many very important emails have just disappeared.

Problem remains unresolved. Im not very high tech.
I would like to know why many emails have disappeared from my inbox, and would like to have them. I even offered to pay more fees if necessary.
Bottom line: problem not resolved. I explained that due to a serious accident I was in the hospital and now that I am home, many emails have disappeared.
Technical problems
I called a week ago, and they told me, I was gonna have internet, if I would restart my modem, and it never happened so they just lied at me
Cancellation
Never got confirmation of cancelation and no address to mail box to. Can't get a hold of a human. Very unhappy with company.

He said he was partnered with Frontiernet and Frontiernet wanted to offer their faster, more dependable service to me. They promised I would have my modem within 24-48 hours.
After 4 days of waiting, I called and asked them where it was. They said it was delayed and they had no idea when it would come. I told them to cancel my service and refund my money. They did not.
Instead, the modem arrived a week later. I hooked it up to see if it would work. I was getting 0.20 to 0.60 download speeds.
I called Frontiernet to complain and they told me that Earthlink was not their partner and I was scammed. I am unable to remove my credit card from their website and they have not responded to my request to return the equipment and refund my money.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I spent 6 days calling all over the planet, talking to female staff in Mumbai and Hyderabad, Inidia before problem was solved by about a 2 hour call from Durban South, Africa. No special offers or compensation offered other than "I'm sorry for your problems."

I have been with the company for 30 some odd years. They have been reasonably good.
At least, as opposed to g-mail, there is someone to talk with.
All of a sudden advertisements started to appear on my e-mails. I called and they want an additional amount of money on my monthly bill to remove the ads from my account.
What next?
Inconsistent Communication and reconnect
I recently unemployed and had to let service go off. Communicated unemployment to Earthlink.
They were great at communicating pay the money.
When able three weeks later to pay dues and RECONNECT fee, reconnect has not happened three days later despite two attempts to contact via chat, long wait on queue. Preparing to lodge complaint with FTC and schedule them to take line off house.
