On 11/16/17 I had problems with my DSL Service. I called earthlink and spoke with their customer service (in India) and they informed me that my service was inactive to to non-payment of 19.25.

Which was a month past due. I paid the past due amount and they stated my services will be restored. I spoke with Customer Service again on 11/18/17 (in India) and she stated that 15.00 re-activation will be added to my account and that the Inactive order would be be cancelled due to payment. I had services for 1 day 11/18/17.

On 11/19/17, the services was off again. I called Customer Service one again and I was told that my DSL service was totally disconnected by the vendor Verizon. They was not sure what happened. I called Earthlink's Corporate Office in Georgia to make a complaint with Executive Relations.

The first representative stated that my DSL service was not disconnected and she gave me the number to their technical support in america. They told me it would escalated to the vendor (verizon) case there was trouble with the line. I called back Executive relations to find out the status of my DSL and was told my DSL has been completely disconnected by verizon and I would have to pay a 69.95 fee to have it restored! I told them it wasn't fair because of someone incompetence my service was disconnected.

I was then told that verizon changed the policy re: billing matters. I was asked if this was communicated to the customers and the answer was no. I paid the 69.95 on 11/22/17 to have my services restored. I called to see the status and no one saw an order for new service.

I call back Executive Relations on 11/27/17 to find out what was going on. I was on hold and technical support picked -up. I explained everything again and he put me on hold to research it. He came back and tole me Verizon was having technical difficulties restoring my service and they was working on it.

Today I got a call stating that Verizon denied restoring my DSL because they have limited slots and mine was given away!!!! This is ridiculous!

In my area there is limited options for internet service that is affordable!!! This is not how you treat customers!!!!

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
