Beside the fact that the DSL never really worked properly, their customer service is lacking and their follow through stinks! I was an Earthlink customer around 6 years ago and was pleased with the service and pricing so I had no qualms about using them again. Think again! They have moved from their "we are local with great customer service" set up to "we use foreigners (I don't mind this, but good service would be great) who have no idea what you are talking about". First we had billing issues - billed for DSL and dial up - and everytime we dialed up it asked for dial up regardless of how we set it up ... even after I called for help. Mind you, I have had other providers and set up service without a hitch. Now with trying to leave, our line is still active after two weeks meaning we can't get service from our other provider. DO NOT USE EARTHLINK EVER!!! YOU WILL BE SORRY! 129657f
