EarthLink ripped me off
I quit using earthlink a few years ago. I realized I didn't need to pay for the email service I was buying, and paying even extra for more storage using gmail.
I called to cancel service in May of 2015. I just realized they have been billing me all year long, now they say that they gave me a free month and I agreed to stay on with them. I called to cancel and this is the *** story they are saying. They owe me 11 months.
I guess I need a hundred words here, i am pissed off, upset, ripped off, and used and abused by this ruthless company. I canceled the service as I was paying 10$ a month for email address only, no service, no internet, just for my email address. When I cancelled last may, I never looked for the charge on my credit card as I was assured that it was not there.
Jeez, how long does it take to type a hundred words? Earthlink did not cancel my service when I requested it and it has cost me over $100 in charges that were for services that I never used or wanted.
