EarthLink is a leading national Internet service provider. The company is based in Atlanta. The company was founded in 1994 by Sky Dayton. EarthLink has been servicing more than 5 million customers. The company provides Internet services regardless of access type, speed or location. In 1995, the company introduced EarthLink Software. It was the first open and direct Internet access software in the world. In 2007, the company launched a Freestanding DSL service. This enables consumers receive high-speed Internet access without buying local telephone service from their phone companies.

Internet is an international computer network providing e-mail and information from computers in educational institutions, government agencies, and industry, accessible to the general public via modem links. Internet has its own special structure that is very difficult to analyze but quit simple to use. This network offers us so many things that previous generation could not even dream about. Surely, there are disadvantages as well, but sometimes we have the power to eliminate them and use Internet as we wish.
